Some 40 years ago, as mentioned above, we registered a new company that was manageAnd control the relationship with the P&I club Community. It was on 17 April of 1996 that we decided to {segregate[ the P&I work, form the rest of the activities of Felipe J. Alvarado, by establishing a company, which we named Pandi Costa Rica, s.a.. The main reason was that for many years this activity was easily managed through Felipe J. Alvarado, however as the work load increased a separation became apparent. Another factor was of a fiscal nature. As the activity grew so the need to separate the accounting procedures and specially the cash accounting of this company, witch called to be managed separately.

Although an entity called Pandi Costa Rica, S.a. was born, it never the left the [ Ancestral Home[, since it is still housed in our general HQ.s and even if the employees are registered in different companies, the contour and office layout, is the same.

We share the same basic structures as our Mother Company but the management is independent and separate.

Regarding the conduction of the company, Mr. Roberto Jimenez Soto, is the president & CEO. The CFO is Ms. Adriana Jimenez Beeche, who also has under her control, a very specialized section of our activity, which is the Claim Handling Department of NYK. This is special programmed, which was devised by Messrs. Thomas Miller, who manages the UK P&I Club.This nouvelle programmed functions throughout the entire world and it handles NYK claims in any port of the world where they call and / or are engaged in the shipping activity. As area managers, we coordinate the claim handling and reporting of all Central American countries, plus Panama, Mexico & the all of the Caribbean Islands
